anders trentem¿llers career is a travel-heavy one, with his touring schedule taking him pretty much all over the world. but its his home port thats inspired his latest project, the sprawling, stunning compilation mix Ôharbour boat trips vol. 02: copenhagen. clocking in at just over an hour long, the compilation sees trentem¿ller curate and craft sixteen songs into a heavy, hazy mix that ranges from shoegaze to electronica, featuring both familiar and celebrated artists like a place to bury strangers (with a new trentem¿ller remix) and slowdive to more obscure finds, as well as trentem¿llers own tracks and remixes, most notably a brand new trentem¿ller cover of neil youngs classic Ôtransformer man. the mix sees him pick up a thread he left off earlier in his career. in 2009 he put together Ôharbour boat trips - 01: copenhagen, a compilation mix comprised of his favourite music, both danish and international, from across four decades, loosely inspired by the motion and movement of copenhagens busy harbour. closing in on a decade later, were getting the second edition, with Ôharbour boat trips - 02 arriving this november.

compost pr�sentiert das 13. kapitel dieser bahnbrechenden, hoch gesch�tzten compilation serie. das gesamtpaket auf einer doppel-cd und 4-lp mit zwei gelben, zwei schwarzen scheiben. wie immer hat compost masterind michael reinboth diese compilation mit geschmack und sensibilit�t f�r ausgefallene tracks zusammengestellt. von schlagkr�ftigen floorfillern, �ber geisterhaften tunes oder latin , funk monstern, cinematischen epen, balearic, zerfransten tools, bis bitter-s�§en hybriden ist alles dabei was future jazz ausmacht. selbst die geklampfte version von maze twilight �berrascht mit einem vibe, den fsoj immer ausgemacht hat. diverse magazine haben die fsoj serie als eine der besten compilation serien aller zeiten gefeiert oder gelistet. mit dem start der serie 1995 wurde das genre future jazz quasi aus der taufe gehoben.

die -environment--serie der kult-elektroniker future sound of london basiert auf den gleichnamigen lost alben aus dem jahr 1993, die erst 2008 komplettiert und ver�ffentlicht wurden. in der folge entstanden weitere arbeiten in anlehnung an die fr�h-1990 er electronica der fsol, die jetzt nach und nach erscheinen. der sechste teil erstreckt sich �ber zwei separate alben und umfasst 46 unver�ffentlichte tracks auf 2 cds. die lps enthalten 17 bzw. 18 tracks, wobei der track -silent around them- auf lp vol.6.5 vinyl-exklusiv erscheint.

following contributions by dj deep and dj hell, tresor records are proud to present the third instalment in their kern mix-series, this time headed by berlin based producer objekt, his first release following his 2014 debut album flatland for pan. in keeping with the series mission of showcasing a more personal approach to mixing hertz describes his process as such, kern vol. 3 is made up of tracks that i know i will play and love for years to come. some of these records have been in my bag for years others are almost as new to me as they are to you. a handful are by lesser known artists whom i admire and who i think deserve wider recognition. planned, recorded, embellished, reworked, tweaked and chiselled away at over a period of 6 months, the mix was gradually carved out in a way that makes use of new and old techniques alike, presenting itself primarily as a dj mix but settling in a sweet spot between live recording and studio trickery. the tracklist spans styles, decades and bpms in an attempt to craft a mix thats unpredictable and compelling in equal measure Ð one that draws from the more adventurous corners of my club sets, but above all, one thats a pleasure to listen to.
